It's a bit confusing the figures published on the dot gain. Like I said
earlier if using the ICC profiles the dot gain is a non -issue.

Most would prefer pre-separated data to a standard , then correct with
transfer curves at the platesetter. That's exactly the problem, no one is
making a standard assumption of what to do in this regard.
