With the Ultrachrome inkset using the matte black cartridge, there is a lot to
choose from. There is Epson Smooth Fine Art (extremely similar to Crane Museo)
and Textured Fine art (also made by Crane). Smooth Fine Art in particular is
very popular. Epson also offers their own version of Somerset Photo Enhanced
which is basically the paper from Legion and the coating from Epson, very
similar printability to regular Somerset PE. The Hahmemule papers all work
well, German Etching board, Photo Rag, and William Turner are my favorites and
come in relatively heavy sizes. Be forewarned that none of these papers print
particularly well without the matte black ink installed. The photo black in
these papers is not very good. You can also plan for the inevitable fact that
you'll need a custom ICC profile for any of these papers. If you are intending
to run a third-party RIP then there may be some canned profiles included
(which may or may not work), but if you print with the Epson driver you will
need to get some profiles made. With the Photo Dye version of the 7600/9600
there isn't much that doesn't print well with these inks but you will greatly
sacrifice the any "archival characteristics" that the Ultrachromes afford
you.
