Problems with OptiCal monitor calibration software

  • Subject: Problems with OptiCal monitor calibration software

I am experiencing recurrent software incompatibility between OptiCal and
the Eversmart scanning application.

With Optical prior version 3.5.1, when I launched Eversmartscan, the
monitor calibration was disabled and I had to launch Optical to activate
it again.

With Optical 3.5.1, this problem was fixed and it worked flawlessly.

I just installed version 3.6 and now when I launch Eversmartscan, the
calibration is not disabled but the screen turns cooler, like if the
effect of calibration was increased. Again, by launching Optical, the
problem is fixed... until next time.

Am I the only one or is it a known problem and are ColorVision working a
patch for it? I like the Optical and Spyder combo, but sometimes I
forget to reactivate the calibration and my work on images, before I
notice, is less than optimal which can be annoying.
