I really don't use the 7/3 target and I know it's fairly old -- that's why
I'm turning to the experts for advice.
The ECI 2002 target looks pretty good. 1485 patches that basically
combine the old IT8.7/3 with the proposed IT8.7/4, with the
redundancies between them removed.
In the past, I've had great success with Gretag's TC CMYK 6.02, but
the Gretag guys say the ECI 2002 should be better.
Strongly recommend that you do the two-step process with
linearization, so that you can relinearize the profiles when you have
to (which I suspect might be quite often) rather than having to build
new ones from scratch....
