With Status E the curve is almost linear.

Why is the reason to use Status E in inkjet printers?
For profiling Lab or spectral values can be used in the creation of the
profiles. Status E will give you lower yellow number values as they are
calculated differently from the Lab measurements.
According to Best no differences should result between status E or T in the
base linearisations. I believe that the Gretag i1 and Spectro lino's will
only make status E base lin values , but that could have changed recently.
