To be fair (and it's true - I Do work for Monaco), it was reported to me
from other members involved in this "competition" that CMYK results were a
tie between Monaco and Gretag. Further, tests were conducted using the 4.1
version of software from Gretag (the latest), and version 4.0 (earlier
version) from Monaco. The latest release of MonacoPROFILER is 4.5 (same core
technologies are used in MonacoPROOF 3.6) which has pushed CMYK output
quality even further. Even if it was a dead heat in quality between the
EyeOne and MonacoPROOF (which it's not), the EyeOne package doesn't even
give you a profile editor, where MonacoPROOF provides many of the same
editing tools that you see in our high-end package.
