That's good advice, but if you follow it, I strongly suggest you keep the
original files around. Even the best camera profiling packages I have tested,
while they may make an overall improvement, still may show some deficiencies
with respect to a particular attribute in comparison with the original image.
"What you should consider is that they will all differ by varying amounts.
Therefore create profiles of all the cameras and then worst case set up a
"workable" batch action in PS. Or use an AppleScript approach to the same
goal.
By that I mean hot folders and profile conversions to a standardized
workspace. Multiple input folders (one for each camera profile conversion)
and one more "common" output folder to the WS.
You will absolutely both quality and consistency by doing this. The net
result will be consistent images stripped of individual camera
personalities."
