Only if you want to enable the "viewing light" option and the "correction
for optical brightner" feature. I generally leave it on but certain
applications (ColorThink for one) cannot read a Measure Tool data file that
includes spectral data.

No bug that I know but you'll get difference results depending on how you
build the profile. Personally, I use either the "One Gamma" or "Three Gamma"
option for monitor profiles. The "Large" profile tends to produce poor
results with regard to shadow detail, at least the way Photoshop uses the
monitor profile.

Well, if there was ONE right way to build an inkjet profile, you wouldn't
see all those options! So much dependson how you're driving the printer (OS
driver or RIP) and it's intended use (proofing or photo/fine art printing).
