I think it's only perceptual. Could be wrong. That being the case, I've yet
to run into any issues here using this "feature" and 9 times out of ten,
using a RelCol with the generated profiles. In fact, while I'd agree that IF
there is a problem with the Perceptual intent, I find I prefer the soft
proof and final output using a RelCol intent with PMP as well as most other
profiles.
Also interesting is that Saturation intent in PMP profiles can sometimes
work out nicely (but your mileage may vary). I don't do conversions without
viewing individual images in each intent first.
