"On your ACD set the Brightness control to a level you
feel comfortable with
(I find above 50% is better). Start i1 and choose the
Advanced calibration
option. In the calibration options window choose
Native as your White Point
and set the gamma to 2.2 (YES 2.2)."

Ian,
I'm having trouble determining a Brightness point on
my 20" Cinema
Display. Can you offer a suggestion?
My existing monitor profile created with Eye-One Match
2.0 has the
brightness slider on maximum brightness. A custom
made printer profile
for my Epson 2200 is about 1/3 to 1/2 stop too dark.
Is this because I have the brightness turned up too
far?
Also, why do you recommend a Windows Standard 2.2
gamma setting?
If I've botched this monitor profile does this mean
that my printer profile
will be skewed? Will that require a new printer
profile as well?
