Hello,
I'm having hard times trying to get monitor calibrations to work
automatically with multiple users in Mac OS X 10.2.6
I have calibrated monitors with GretagMacbeth Spectrolino and
MeasureTool 4.5.1. After calibration, calibration data is saved in
Users > Shared -folder so that every user can access it.
Problem is that every time user logs in to the workstation he/she
should first start MeasureTool and load calibration data. After that
he/she should also select the right profile from System preferences >
Displays > Color. That is too much for average user, I think, and
therefore I'm trying to get it automated.
Profile is no problem. That is easy to solve, but calibration data not.
MeasureTool is not scriptable with AppleScript, so here lies my problem.
Do anybody happen to know what data exactly is loaded and where in the
system, when data is loaded into MeasureTool > Calibrate monitor >
System Status?
I could probably try to make some kind of a Unix shell script to
automate the loading of calibration data if I only would know where and
what to look after. Maybe... :-)
Any ideas?
Sincerely,
