Hi All,
I would need assistance again, being unable to print a chart correctly.
Strangely, when I print the 125 patches sheet, some of the resulting
patches are totally different than what they are on screen. Some raws
have the same patches as the raw above. I recently upgraded to
ProfilerPro 2.3 because with the previous version that had the same 25
gray patches in the bottom right corner, the software would freeze
during the profile buildup process (I now think that I should have
discarded the gray value lines from the text file). Now, the new chart
in 2.3 has a place with lines to write down the print details. I have
printed it 3 times with different settings and after trashing and
reinstalling the Epson drivers and preferences. All prints are the same
with some wrong patches especially in the last 5 raws. This seems very
strange to me for why would an image have different values for screen
and for print when no calibration is used? I printed like usual with
"same as source" and "no printer calibration" in Adobe RGB. I normally
print the 720 patches sample and did not notice anything wrong with that
one. Could possibly the french version contain an error? (Most likely my
system though!)
Thanks in advance, especially to C.D. Tobie if you are at your office!
Best regards
Paul Schilliger
