What makes you think so ? One is using 4D Luts based on thousands of
measurements, while the other is based on 12-16 values and a crude
model of how a printing process behaves. If they resemble each other
slightly, you are doing well.

But what we get is a result that shares little resemblance with the result
of the Euro v2 profile.

This should be fixed.

The fact that a simple model of a printing process doesn't match that of a
thorough characterization, can hardly be regarded as a fault.
