I tried this but when I select "New Document" ColorLab does not ask me
an creates a new, empty document.
I've tested this with colorlab 2.4.1 and 2.8 on 10.2.8.
Step 1:
File -> New (creates a new, empty document)
Step 2:
Edit -> New Patches...
(lets you define the number of patches and the stripe length)
P.S.: the test charts are simple text files (tables), you can create an
edit them also with any text editor or spreadsheet application.
