If you are mostly printing out of Photoshop, I find it most convenient
to leave the control panel on unspecified, and use the Print dialogue
box. You also have more conversion options there, and you can name your
custom profile however you like.
This assumes you are using it for straight printing, not cross rendering
for press simulation.
