I'm having trouble with my korean soft rip "ARTIST RIP". I sent a color
patch through the rip and printed it on a DGI printer. Read the patches
using xrite swatchbook and printopen to produce ICC profile of the setup. I
initialized all the curve and density setting in the rip and choose no icc
in the icc tab. After I made an ICC for it and specified it on the ICC tab,
I dont get good results. I'm wondering if during the time I chose the ICC I
created in the ICC tab, that there must be some other convertion happening
other than the expected convertion using your new ICC.
I want to prove if there is something wrong with the convertion of the RIP
or my custom made ICC is defective. How will I convert my tiff file into a
file that is already converted using my custom made ICC?. After that, I
will print that converted tiff file into the rip using "NO ICC" in the ICC
tab.
Hope you will consider answering my fundamental question.
