I understand cocompletelyI too started with
Colorblind.
Almost any other editor will seem like a breeze.

I use PrProfileMakernd the Kodak Custom Color ICC.
The kokodakroduct is fun to use. You use the
PhPhotoshopadjustments that you already know how to
use. You just have to be careful when naming. If you
don't change the name at creation it will give the
same name and you'll never find it. This software only
works on printer profiles.
If I have to edit another type of profile I use
PrProfileMaker
You can download the entire ProfileMaker program at
www.gretagmacbeth.com, it will work in demo mode and
you can see how it works.
