printer functions? This is exactly what iQueue 140 does.
It all started with a customer that has PrintDesk (full) and uses it a lot,
controlling about 6 printers between color and b&w. The reasoning was, why
pay for print spooling functions when I already have a full-featured print
server. Besides, I don't want to add a second print server into the mix
forcing me to manage output priority in two applications.
Not to mention the hefty price difference!
But never did we envision that iQueue 120, apart from not having spooler
functions, would be incompatible with spoolers!! meaning, incompatible with
printer-specific postscript. At least this is what it seems...
