Well... there's the brightness, for starters. Unless you dim down your Cinema
(before, not after profiling it) to mimic your PowerBook, there's really not
going to be any way to compare them. Then there's the whitepoint issue. Rather
than skew these screens (since neither of them have front panel controls for
adjusting the whitepoint) you would probably be best off calibrating both to
native whitepoint, and living with the minor difference in the color of white
between them.
I'm not suggesting you run your 250 candela-capable Cinema at the 90 candelas
your PowerBook can manage, only that comparing them without doing so is bound
to cause a mismatch.
