PhotoCAL uses the same core... I have yet to test profiles with the current
ColorVision colorant tags versus those that are mathematically corrected, but
when I view profile definitions from other software for the same monitor
against those from OptiCAL, the difference is visually indistinguishable
expect in the most highly saturated colors (beyond the general photo range)
on the red side of the color space, where it is slightly distinguishable.
