Hi:

I am using an EyeOne (I understand that some components are identical to the
spectrolino) with key wizard to measure density. A retired pre-press
professional friend brought over a Gretag density reference (maybe not the
right nomenclature, but it was a piece of metal with varying density
patches, that had been measured and labeled at the factory), and the EyeOne
using the "density" only program in KeyWizard was within a few hundredths.
My friend (who has been working professionally with color in pre-press for
over 30 years) was extremely surprised at its acuracy.
