RGB : Preferably eciRGB10 (D50 same as PCS for safer downstream
conversion, fits all four printable ISO primaries)
CMYK : Preferably a high resolution ISO or TR001 default profile, or a
high resolution profile for the actual printing condition.
Gray : Preferably load CMYK working space into Gray popup in InDesign,
Photoshop.

Yes.

Engine : Apple CMM
Intent : Perceptual
BPC : n/a for Perceptual
BPC works with Relative Colorimetric only and is designed to scale the
L* lightness channel while leaving the a* and b* chroma channels
untouched.
Playing with ProfileMaker 4.1 gamut mapping options will help you see
the difference in shadow treatment and chroma retention.
ColorThink 2 helps visualize what happens when these options are used.

No, that's why it's so interesting -:).
Hope this helps.
