Sony Artisan and Mirrored Drive G4

Hi, I just set up a Dual 1.25 GHz Mirrored Drive "Cheese Grater" Mac with an Artisan. In both OS 9 and Jaguar (all updates applied) the version 1.0 calibration software does not recognize the Artisan. Apple System Profiler returns generic info. Is this because the DVI-VGA adapter is preventing operation? The video card is an ATI 9000.

Has anyone encountered this and is the easy way out of this going to be to buy another video card?

Gary
