AGM is distributed by Adobe with all its apps -- Win or mac -- in the form
of an external loadable library module (AGM.lib). My understanding is that
AGM amounts to a kind of Display PostScript. It is not Quartz as it
substitutes for it when Photoshop loads in memory. Which makes the
application somewhat slower compared with other apps (like Quark) who simplu
makes system call to the QuickDraw APIs. But, this way, Adobe have full
control of the display. Much like in the old series "The Twilight Zone".
