Its still ColorVision ProfilerPRO, Pantone is a marketing partner, serving
the prepess/graphic design market.

Yes, using the 125 patch target, you should be able to make this combination
work without too much effort.

Last time I tested PowerRIP it was still have some trouble using custom
profiles, but I assume they ironed that out long ago. You will need to know
something about the settings involved in getting an optimal CMYK profile;
they are not trivial like RGB profiles; but other than that, it should work.
