ImagePrint is dependent on the media profile in order to set its color
conversion. You can't have a an RGB media profile selected if your going to
profile CMYK with the RGB/CMYK inputs set to none --- it won't work. You get
a print & preview with black lines.
Andrews statement of ". the paper profile isn't doing a thing when you have
an
untagged file in the RIP and the Bitmap popup set to none" is Wrong.
The media profiles set the colorspace and various other things in ImagePrint
so it can't be disabled when printing jobs.Cris Daniels also has proof of
this.

The idea was to determine why ImagePrints Preview doesn't match Photoshop's
and Who's is correct.
Andrew believes that Photoshop is correct and that ImagePrint preview is
wrong.
My point was that here are to many combinations of options to get them to
match without testing and to know who is correct.
I'm not willing to say PhotoShop is perfect. Adobe Photoshop has just as
many flaws in there Color theory as Gretag, Monaco, etc..
I debated a few top guys at Abode over the years, when I show them there
flaws --- they say use another product because they don't have an answer.
