I have been disappointed with the <bronzing> exhibited by the 2200
[2100] shipped here in the UK on even the Archival Semimatte.
All the 7600/9600 I've seen have been on matte stock / art paper and
despite alot of asking no-one has talked aboiut the problem being seen
on the 7600 aswell.
If the '600 you've seen exhibits the same <bronzing> in the light-ish
gray areas - then I'd say no way is it suitable. In fact I'd say it
needs an urgent fix, perhaps it's the light black [isn't that gray?] ink?
I've also heard comments from colleagues about the warmth of that gray
ink, plays havoc with black generation since profile packages expect a
neutral ink when adding black to the mix in a CMYK spec.
Fine Art repro on glossy stock though?? isn't that a bit unusual?
