Hi All,
My monitor (nearly 6 years old 24" Sony W900) is loosing it's contrast.
I hadn't noticed by sight, but I am no longer able to adjust to the
ColorCal requirements at full resolution. However, if I set the
resolution to a lower value which only uses part of the screen, the
contrast jumps to normal values again. Which makes me wonder if the
contrast loss is due to the aging of the tube (my first guess) or any
other component or to the graphic card. Any idea? Is it time to consider
replacing it or can this be fixed? (Any suggestions for a replacement
model are welcome!)
Best regards
Paul Schilliger
