I'm thinking about replacing my old 21" Apple Studio Monitor (CRT) with the
new (this week) 20" Apple Cinema Display (M8893ZM/A). However, there are
some good buys ($1,000 off) on the "older" APPLE 22" CINEMA DISPLAY
(M8058ZM/A ) right now, only $200 more than the new 20" version
Q. 1 What are the advantages of the just announced APPLE CINEMA DISPLAY
monitors as opposed to the "older" ones now being discounted?
I've been using MonacoEZcolor 2 and the old light sensor. I've got a Mac
dual 1GHZ G4 running OS 10.2. Now there is a new 2.5 version of
MonacoEZcolor with the OPTIX sensor for the LCD monitor. The upgrade is
$339.00.
Q. 2. Do I need the new colorimeter for the cinema Display? Is this color
management system the best buy for my money? I'm about to add an Epson 9600
printer and funds are less than plentiful right now.
