The read me says that it supports the version 4 and the lcd screens yet no
mention if the series 1 are supported. You need to be careful of your cable
connections and use of a powered hub if the usb side is running off other
than a direct port.
I have seen the blue screen happen on newer screens. It's picking up old
calibration data. Try deleting all LaCie BlueEye soft and preferences,
tossing the monitor profiles, and the Colorsync cache, the LaCie start up
script too. Reinstall and see if that works. The DVD drawer must be a
software conflict of some sort that may be hard to find.
