Hello to everyone,
could you suggest me some clarifications about this, maybe ingenuous, issue:
Why, profiling a (LaCIE) monitor, does EyeOne Pro retrieve slightly
different values when the measurement is done in full-screen mode rather
than in small window? Could this "involve" some trouble?
I had problems with Gretag software (get a look to "ProfileMaker 4.1.5 /
i1Match 2.0 monitors shifting" topic for further info) and after some
testing and help from Logosoft, I can make good profiles only turning off
the full-screen patch display (which brings to pretty pink white point).
They're interpreting the difference between measure methods as unnaturaly
"higher stimulated R, G, B channels" in full-screen mode -- and/or ambient
light interference (so does ambient light take the hue from big 19" wide
monitor patch and then it vitiates the measure?).
In your opinion, is this plausible?
When I'm doing everyday work, I usually evaluate color not selecting a small
part of the picture and darkening all the rest... Anyway, any hint,
suggestion or comment will be greatly appreciated
Best regards,
Davide Barranca
