Yes, there would be benefits to more complete black generation control;
though it would be ideal to avoid profiling as a seven color device. With
proper
RIP channel splitting controls CMYK profiling is sufficient. In fact, if you
have a copy of CV ProfilerPRO, try drawing your own black generation curve in
that to see what improvements are possible, before paying the cost of Monaco
Profiler, which is a great product, but at a premium price.
