Several observations.

Film recorders have historically offered the most accurate color
reproduction of any
class of device.

Both Kodak and CSI have very sophisticated LUT-based color calibration
routines.
The digital analog converters offer high-bit conversion (which is often
better than can
be achieved with 16 bit RGB to Lab to RGB transforms).

The native gamma of a film recorder is in the order of 2.46. To that end
the
DA_FilmContrast_WorkingSpace.icc performs well with scan-to-film recorder
workflows. This is especially true of the Kodak, Durst/Dice and CSI flavors.

Please contact me off-list for that working space.
