Yes, I mean InDesign. "Bring an image in the same plane" means force it to
be processed as an InDesign element and you do that by assigning a

Not to detract too much from the thread topic (Q6) but regarding
vector eps isn't applying transparency a more convoluted process than
simply cutting and pasting?
Maybe I'm just not following...
