I think the problem could be provide by an ACE profile in your PDF file !!
But where did it come from ??
If you save a image in an EPS format in Photoshop and you checked the
dialogue box which told you if you want to use the postscript
colormanagment, Photoshop calculate a a specific profile for some postscript
RIP. At this time this ACE profile is not compatible with ICC workflow, a
lot of software postscript RIP use it and crashed.
The solution is: Use a software like Pitstop to suppress every profile in
you PDF.
