OptiCal itself is among the finest piece of monitor calibrating and
profiling software that's commercially available today. Its modeling
accuracy places it among the top three profiling systems that I've tested
extensively (iMacth v2 and FujiColourKit v4). Never had a chance to test
Monaco package.
Bear in mind that there was a time that OptiCal sold as a bundle with the
venerable DTP92. This was and still is a formidable tandem, IMO.
I can't speak of the Spyder as I've never personnally owned one.
