Back when Praxisoft was the preferred program for profiling RGB photo
devices, this was the compromise you made: lose the bright vector colors in order to
control the photo colors and skintones. When ColorVision ProfilerPRO came
along and offered full vector colors and some improvements to the photo colors as
well, that made a lot of photo device owners very happy. Since then other
software has also made strides in this direction; so I'd say the ColorVision,
Monaco, or Gretag Macbeth software would all be likely to offer better results
than what you are seeing with the older Praxisoft stuff.
