They aren't actually out of gamut (at least not the colors you were getting
unprofiled, not necessarily the colors you were asking for), or you couldn't
print them without a profile either. We're talking about profiles having an
intent in there that will allow you to continue getting those max colors at the
same saturations (and a bit more accurate hues) than unprofiled, without getting
so picky on you that they choke them back a lot in an attempt to make even
ramp steps and exact colorimetric matches. Those are among the features of
ProfilerPRO's saturation intent, along with mapping yellows to inktank yellow,
since another related user complaint for this type of work is that the full yellow
they selected isn't printing pure yellow, but has lots of black dots in it...
which is colorimetrically appropriate, but not what many users want.
