Thanks for all the very helpful answers. I will be following up on several
of them. The printer was very hard to get any kind of specs from even after
several emails and phone conversations. I have done things through Modern
Postcard that were quite successful.

But I do the impression I'm going to have to do a lot of the work this
printer isn't up on. I did try sending quite a variety of RGB and CMYK.
Couldn't even get feedback on which they were proofing, I just know I sent
them everything I could think of.

However, I am sure I'm going to looking into getting a new monitor and
*lots* of studying up on color management. Thanks again for all the feedback
from this list.
