Has anyone encountered the following problem and found a solution?
When using our SpectroScan with the KeySpan USB/Serial adapter and the
Gretag Measure tool (4.11) on an XP machine, the device will simply stop
reading part way through a chart. No error messages, it just hangs. I've
got the most up-to-date version of the KeySpan driver and from the XP
Device Manager everything looks ok. Each time it happens, I have to do a
reset on both the Spectrolino and the Spectroscan to get it working
again. But then the problem repeats after a few more readings.
Trouble-shooting info from Gretag is pretty sparse...
Thanks for any suggestions.
