At a minimum, you need to be aware that it will put profiles in the OS 9
ColorSync folder, and you will have to move/alias them to use them from OS X
applications. Monitor calibration would be more problematic, but you're not really
planning to do that are you?

Actually, they work very nicely; as OS X updates come out, and repeatedly
break the OS X support for my other spectros, the ColorMouse, under Classic,
keeps on chugging... same deal with where profiles need to be, etc and if you
write a log to the desktop, it won't be the right desktop (done that a *number* of
times!)
