Damon,
Thanks for your reply. One other question: Was the Eye-One device
the new i1 Display colorimeter or the i1 Pro spectrophotometer? I also see
the basICColor software bundled with a colorimeter
I am just getting into more serious color management, and will be
scanning slides with a Nikon 4000, adjusting and proofing in Photoshop on a
dual G4, and then printing to an Epson 1270 (perhaps with various ink/paper
combinations). I want to keep cost in line (I've just spent a fortune on
the Cinema 23, a dual G4, and the Nikon).
I have considered the i1 Display for starters, or the i1 Photo
spectrophotometer that will handle monitor and print profiling.
Do you, or others on the list have recommendations?
Thank you,
Bob
