Still feeling disgusted after reading from Dr Nicholas Hellmuth on his

one year! Can anybody confirm this?
No. But I have recently heard of a handful of stories of the brightness
and whitepoint of the 22" display being unsatisfactorily low. One that
was a year old reportedly had a native whitepoint of 4800K. The sample
size is so small I have no idea if this is isolated equipment failure,
or an indication of a possible future trend. We'll just have to wait
and see. But what this tells me is that in order to compare products
Apple's to apples, it's necessary to include the cost of an AppleCare
extended warranty into the price of an Apple LCD display. Off the top
of my head I can't think of any other company selling flat panel
displays with a one year warranty. Anybody?
