The MEC colorimeter has always been able to measure ambient light source in
Lux and colour temperature. Also it can determine what effect the ambient
lighting will have on your monitor before trying to calibrate.
Version 2 is now out which supports OS X.
After having tried just about all the other monitor calibrators I still
reckon the MEC is one of the best out there.
