color lab conversion still no export

Well I've tried it in OSX with colorlab 2.8, and in classic with 2.7. I still have a grayed out export menu after converting the 918 RGB printer target to image. Width 34, height 27, enable. No export. This seems like such a simple procedure. What am I missing?
