I tried this & still get a 0,1,0,0 reading even though rgb is 255,255,25

I have a G4, 10.2.4, and PS 7.0.1.
I was able to get c0m0y0k0 and r255g255b255 in the color picker at the same
time and fill a selection with that foreground color and get c0m0y0k0
readings in the info palette using the eyedropper set at point sample, 3x3,
and 5x5. I tried it starting out in CMYK mode and starting in RGB mode. In
color settings I had Adobe RGB and US Sheetfed Coated.
I used a new, empty file with no additional layers.
