Hello Everyone,
Fiery RIP, Epson 9000, Colorwise 3 software.
I've unsuccessfully tried to profile this configuration because I suspect I
am trying to profile over the output profile. The results are awful. (Poor
grays, hue shifts)
You can turn off the RGB input profile, turn off the simulation profile, but
the choices in the output profile menu are default and profiles one through
ten. No "none or "off."
The manual wants you to use their canned profiles and edit them to work. The
canned profiles are too far off to be reasonably edited.
I would appreciate any advice on how to profile this set up short of changing
inksets.
Also, the manual wants you to use an Epson calibrator to read the calibration
patches. I have an X-rite digital swatchbook with Colorshop but I cannot find
the right data format for this software to accept the data.
Does anyone know what kind of data Colorwise accepts? (My client does not
have a pin number with EFI)
I apologize if this topic has been covered before.
Thanks,
Randy Zaucha
