Digital Minilab profiling...

  • Subject: Digital Minilab profiling...

I9m starting out profiling Digital Minilab equipment from various
manufacturers and I9m interested to hear the group9s experience.

Agfa9s d-Lab has a 3Repro2 mode that bypasses their internal ICC transforms
and uses 2D calibration for linearity, so is relatively easy. I9ve been told
that the Frontier is a 3native sRGB device2 and that everything should be
presented in that colour space by Fuji. Some clients who have the Frontier
have generated a profile and are using it, but I9m not sure exactly what9s
going on internally. I have no idea how the Noritsu9s are handling things...

Any comments are appreciated!

James
