Costs?

Hopefully a lurker from GM can clarify. I have the Match 2.0 software so
perhaps I can dig up the EULA and see if there's anything there about EyeOne
Display verses the "other" EyeOne.

Well when the original ColorTron came out, it wasn't at a Spectrophotometer
price range. The costs have been coming down since so I didn't want to
assume this wasn't a Spectrophotometer but it sounds like, light source
aside, the data being collected is RGB data. The question would be what
benefit (if any) is this over a user who already has a flatbed scanner.
Certainly ease of use seems somewhat obvious since I assume the user doesn't
have to be concerned with a scanner driver and all the overhead and issues
that raises.

Makes sense.

I wouldn't expect anything else on such a site.
