Setup a CMYK grayscale ramp in Photoshop and find the answer for yourself by
using the Color picker and the CMYK Working Space of your choosing. (US
WebCoated (SWOP) v2 sounds like a good place to start).
Try using AbsCol and RelCol.
If you want to be more accurate than that, you'll have to define "Black"
with a little more precision.
